Use RefWorks

Steps for Searching LeoPac & LINK+ and Importing from RefWorks

There are two ways to export citations from LeoPac (or Link+) into RefWorks.  The first is to search and import from inside of RefWorks, the second is to export when in the catalog.  It is definitely more simple to search from inside RefWorks.

To export citations from LeoPac (the library catalog) from within RefWorks:

  1. Log into Refworks
  2. Click on Search Databases icon
  3. Click on the Select database to search dropdown
  4. Choose Library of Congress or you can search for other databases to search

  5. Search for the book title or keyword you want to import
  6. Check boxes of citations to be imported Or choose "All in List" to import all citations, and click Import.

  7. A successful import will generate a "Successfully imported __ references" message.
  8. The new references are placed in the Last Imported folder and can be added to other folders by click-and drag.

  9. Or you can add them to a folder from the menu.
