What Am I Searching?

Easy Search searches the library books, many of the library's article databases, and media to help you find the most relevant information available.  The search is in OCLC Worldcat, and searches articles in ProQuest, Sage, Wiley, JSTOR, Gale and other databases.  You can limit your results by date, resources, subject area and more. 

Take a couple of minutes to watch the short video for some tips and tricks of searching. 

Features to notice:

  • Limit Your Results   

Searching for Articles? -  When you search within Easy Search, you will notice that books on your topic are the first on the result list.  If you want article results, go to the Format box on the left hand side of the screen and select the type of formats you in which you are interested (Article).

Further down on the left hand side of the result screen, you can also limit your search by date, topic, and specific databases searched.  These options can make a huge impact on the information you find!

Tips for Easy Search

Searching for Articles?

When searching for articles, make sure to check the Articles option on the left hand side! The default in Easy Search is for books to be displayed first in the search results.
