How to Request a Book

All faculty, staff, and students can request to have books placed on hold for in-person pick up at the Wilson Library or have books mailed to their home address.

See below for instructions.

If you are picking up requests at the Wilson Library:

  • An email will be sent to your University of La Verne email account when your item(s) are ready to be picked up.
  • Patrons can retrieve their item(s) at the pick up area behind the front desk. Items will be shelved alphabetically by last name and first initial.
  • Please checkout your item(s) with a staff member at the front desk. You will need your University of La Verne ID card or government ID to checkout your item(s).
  • If requests are not retrieved within 10 days, the request will be cancelled.
