Welcome to the Faculty Resources & Development guide!

Learning Commons Team of Academic Success Center, Center for Teaching and Learning and Wilson Library have gathered a variety of resources to support you. 

This is a work in progress and we will be adding resources, tutorials and workshops to this guide as they are developed. If you would like something added to the resources on this page, please reach out to us. We would like to grow this guide to support the faculty community. News and Updates!

Learning Commons Student Learning Assistants (SLAs) primarily support student learning in a designated course and/or campus program. SLAs are meant to aid in the learning process of students--not direct it--and support faculty members and students in achieving their desired learning outcomes. This support does not replace faculty members’ role in the classroom, but instead, supplements their efforts so students receive additional support both inside and outside of the classroom. Similar to supplemental instruction, SLAs may lead group tutoring/study sessions with students outside of the classroom, and inside of the classroom SLAs may assist with technology support, small-group discussions, and offering one-on-one support for students.

Please use this form to request tools that will aid in the remote delivery of your courses. We will do our best to provide support by getting you the technology, providing you with additional options, or directing you to the appropriate department to further support you.

It is our intention to support you the best way we can and we appreciate your flexibility as we navigate through the process.
