Libraries & Learning Commons at ULV (located in Wilson Library), is a vibrant, collaborative space on campus which supports the learning, teaching, scholarship, and wellness needs of students, staff, faculty, and alumni. The Libraries & Learning Commons is comprised of the Academic Success Center, Wilson Library, and the Law Library located on the Ontario campus.

ASC Tutors work collaboratively with students to help them explore course material and develop a strategy for learning key concepts. Our Tutors are students at ULV who have a minimum GPA of 3.25, are faculty recommended, and have expertise in the areas they tutor.

Academic Technology & Software Development Specialists provide support on technology related questions to faculty, students and staff, as well as community members. This includes troubleshooting software issues; consultation on software usage, creating multimedia content, etc.

The Artificial Intelligence Student Engineer role is tailored for individuals with a strong enthusiasm for acquiring expertise in AI and disseminating AI-related knowledge. The responsibilities include immersing oneself in diverse AI resources for learning, conducting workshops to impart knowledge, and actively participating in projects related to the Library and Learning Commons to explore ways of integrating AI into the work environment.

Makerspace Outreach & Promotions Assistant is responsible for promoting and selling products created by the university’s Makespace, including 3D-printed items, laser cuts, etc. The role involves engaging with various college units such as the school bookstore, advancement office to promote makerspace products and enhance the visibility of Makerspace products.
