Reserves and Linking Library Resources in Blackboard

A guide to assist faculty in linking and embedding library resources into Blackboard courses and information on reserves.

Welcome to the Faculty Guide on Reserves and Linking to Library Resources

Faculty can link electronic books or chapters from electronic books, full-text articles available in any of the library databases for their courses in Blackboard or other online reading lists.

This guide features video tutorials and step-by-step directions.

If there is a resource that you would like to see on this page, please contact Amy Jiang at, Library Technology Coordinator.

Details on Reserves

Books, pamphlets, copies of articles, and VHS/DVDs can be placed on reserve for a semester to ensure that recommended and assigned readings are readily available for students. The library requires a minimum of 3 days for processing of materials before they are available for student use.

To place materials on reserve, please submit a completely filled out and signed reserve request form with those materials.
