Appointments with an ASC Tutor

  • Writing, Business/Accounting/Economics, Languages, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Physics, Biology, Chemistry

  • Online via Zoom, E-Tutoring (Writing), & In-Person (once we return to campus)

  • Individual & Group Options 

24/7 Tutoring

  • Students can receive online tutoring in over 300 subjects as well as test-prep support

  • Students can access 24/7 Tutoring in Blackboard under “Tools”

Academic Coaching Services

  • Academic coaching is designed to help students create positive learning habits which helps them achieve their academic goals. A peer Academic Coach works with students in recurring meetings to help them improve their time management, study strategies, reading and note-taking skills, and other skills that lead directly to academic success and deeper learning. 

  • In addition, students who connect with an Academic Coach tend to feel part of a community on campus, they get to know the additional supports on campus, and they are connected with a peer who is deeply invested in their academic progress and success.

  • Students can request an Academic Coach

  • Faculty/Staff Academic Coaching Referral Form 

 

Classroom Support Services via Student Learning Assistants (SLAs)

  • SLAs provide classroom support, group consultations, and individual office hour appointments for students in their assigned courses

  • The application for Fall 2022 SLAs has closed.
