Wilson Library's Makerspace

In the Makerspace, our mission includes engaging with the surrounding community. This provides our students staff the opportunity to apply their skills in different areas like graphic design and website creations with local community partners.

Through the support of numerous community partners, we've established internships and special projects that benefit both our students and the community.

We extend our gratitude to NIC Partners for training our students in marketing skills and to Cultural Awareness and Social Inclusion - La Verne (CASI) for involving our students in designing their July 4th parade banner.

We welcome more collaborations like these, where our students can sharpen their skills while contributing to the community.

If you would like to collaborate please email Amy Jiang at ajiang@laverne.edu.

Makerspace actively engages in community events. We have been to campus events such as game nights, ShowCASE day as well as local community events such as STEAM Fair @ fairplex. Family Learning Conference, etc. If you are interested to have makerspace go to your events to show kids and adults cutting edge technologies such as 3D printing and Virtual Reality, please contact Amy Jiang (ajiang@laverne.edu)
